BANNED BOOKS WEEK

The library is set up to prepare students for the week through displays and programs.

The purpose of the week is to help students become aware that many well intentioned patrons and parents challenge materials that are on shelves for students to read. These challenges mean that there is an attempt to remove or restrict the material for everyone. If a material is banned it is removed from the library and no one has access. It is therefore restricting access of the material from the curriculum or library.
